Location:Frankfurt/Main area
Company:Our customer is a world-leader in real-time, 3D Lidar sensors for autonomous driving (ADAS), high resolution 3D mobile mapping, robotic perception, unpiloted aerial vehicles, navigation, security and surveillance applications.
Job scope:Our customer is looking for an experienced, motivated and well-rounded technical Strategic Account Manager Automotive EMEA to staff the rapidly expanding European operations with a diverse set of skills to support growth and maintain world-class customer satisfaction. The primary role of this position is to work with Strategic Automotive and Truck Customers (OEM and Tier 1) to design-in LiDAR systems in order to ensure large quantity purchases and multi-year recurring revenue projects. Based on excellent sales skills and the high level of customer orientation the Strategic Account Manager Automotive EMEA grows turnover substantially in the EMEA Automotive and Truck area.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional technical and commercial support to Key Account Customers for all sales related questions
  • Increase sales volume to support rate of forecast revenue growth for EMEA region
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
  • Drive incremental growth with both existing and new customers
  • Proactively validate sales leads, and develop new customers
  • Analyse, develop and implement sales strategies, and define sales targets
  • Generate product, market and competition analysis
  • Provide market feedback to the Product Managers, in particular for the development of new products
  • Participate in trade shows and customer events
Experience,
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5-years+ Experience in Sales and/or Key Account Management
  • Experience in either European automotive market, survey and mapping market, or industrial warehouse vehicle market
  • LiDAR, Radar or Vehicle Safety Systems experience is a plus
  • Flexiblity and strong target orientation to push sales through in a fast-growing business environment
  • High interest in working effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Energetic, motivating, outgoing and hands-on personality
  • Profound experience in project management
  • High commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • High level of solution orientation
  • Ability to simplify and explain complex concepts
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally within EMEA and occasionally to Silicon Valley Headquarters
